Caitlyn Jenner has expressed her joy for the LGBTQ community in celebration of Pride Month. However, she’s a bit skeptical about how she would react if her daughter, Kendall Jenner, were to transition to male.

On Sunday, the former Olympian took to Instagram to voice how proud she is of the LGBTQ community, which is currently celebrating its Pride Month. She uploaded a snap of her raising her left fist in the air.

The photo she shared was actually taken two years ago during the launch of her book “The Secrets of My Life” at IVY Book Release Party. Knowing the significance of that event in her life, Caitlyn opted to relive that moment while voicing her thoughts about the community.

“Today marks a very special, fun, day of celebration for the LGBTQ community! Happy Pride LA!!! I am the luckiest person in the world to be a part of such a loving, accepting, diverse, and inclusive community. Be proud. Be authentic. Be YOU,” she captioned her post.

Interestingly, the “I Am Cait” star raised some eyebrows days prior when her interview with GIBLIB was released by the medical education streaming service. Apparently, she admitted in the interview that she does not know how she would really react if her daughter Kendall were to come out to her and transition to male.

“As a parent I was like in shock. ‘Are you kidding me? My little Kendall, she’s the highest-paid model in the world. She’s gorgeous,’” she recalled of the time she was asked by a reporter about how she would react if one of her kids, particularly Kendall, were to come out as trans.

“And me, being in this position, I was like, shocked by my response,” she said before admitting that she thinks it would be “tough” for her if her model daughter would come up to her one day and say that she wants to live authentically as male.

However, Caitlyn noted that she would still try to be very understanding of the situation, and she would extend the best support she could give to her daughter if, hypothetically speaking, this were to happen.

“I think this is a tough road … So I understand from a parent’s standpoint,” she said after saying that she would never stop Kendall if she were really to transition. She is also open to having long conversations about this with Kylie’s older sister.
