Caitlyn Jenner ‘Unhappy’ On Outing Sans Sophia Hutchins Amid Kourtney Kardashian’s Birthday

Caitlyn Jenner definitely looked “unhappy” when she stepped out in Malibu earlier this week without rumored girlfriend Sophia Hutchins to accompany her, considering that she missed out on stepdaughter Kourtney Kardashian’s 40th birthday party.

On Thursday, the former Olympian was photographed looking gloomy and somber as she was making her way to Kristy’s to grab something to eat. Even though Jenner’s expression made it seem as though she wasn’t in the mood, she still managed to rock a quaint ensemble by wearing a gray top, a two-toned, loosely-fitted cardigan, a pair of denim jeans and open-toe heeled sandals.

The 69-year-old also kept it stylish by sporting cat eye sunglasses and wearing her hair down. The “I Am Cait” star also noticeably crammed all her stuff into a black handbag because she left it unzipped as she carried it around during her solo outing.

Caitlyn’s outing was on the same day Kourtney had a soiree to celebrate her birthday. Although the former Kardashian-Jenner patriarch failed to show up at the event, she did pay tribute to her stepdaughter on social media. Jenner shared a photo of her and Kourtney posing side by side on her Instagram and poured her heart out in the caption.

“It has been one of the greatest joys in my life to watch you grow in so many ways. You are an amazing mom to your kids. You are an amazing business woman. And above all else a kind soul. Happy birthday [Kourtney] PS you’re catching up to me,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, it wasn’t clear why Hutchins wasn’t able to join Jenner on the latter’s recent outing. The two usually step out together since they are currently living together in Caitlyn’s $3.5 million Malibu hilltop mansion. The pair have forged an inseparable bond ever since they were introduced to each other by their makeup artist and stylist.

Despite their undeniable closeness and the many rumors claiming that they are romantically involved, both Caitlyn and Sophia haven’t personally confirmed or denied anything recently. But when Hutchins celebrated her 23rd birthday early this month, she seemingly confirmed their possibly romantic relationship when she called Jenner her “loving partner” in an Instagram post.
