Activision has finally released the full patch notes for the latest update for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” The update is a whopping 600MB file, though there are quite a lot of fixes and tweaks. In addition, the latest update is inclusive of all the daily live updates following the last major patch.

Over at the official “Call of Duty” website, developer Treyarch has detailed all of the new improvements to come to the game. General and feature-specific fixes are included in the update for weapons, specialists, challenges, maps and medals.

Specialists have also received general updates, the biggest of which is the reduced charge rate over time for the weapons and abilities in Objective modes. Each specialist type also get their specific fixes, most of which target balancing of speed and ammo.

A couple of weapons have been balanced. For general fixes, long distance settings have been update for all weapon classes. Launchers now earn weapon XP for destroying vehicles. The Long Barrel no longer diminishes the damage when it is equipped on shotguns. And the quickdraw ADS speed bonus for the LMG has been reduced. Thermite now inflicts less damage, so it will take longer for a player to be killed by a Thermite. Other weapons saw a reduced clip size, balanced fire rate, damage range, and controlled recoil.

The developer has already fixed the exploits for both the Shadows of Evil and The Giant maps. Full lobbies will also no longer mistakenly accept players during matchmaking. Also, players who are able to reach Prestige will get the Dark Ops calling card. The ful list of patch notes and fixes can be seen in the link above.

Just recently, a fan has spotted a new Easter Egg in Nuketown map. By gunning down both arms of all of the mannequins on the map in under the first two minutes, players will experience the Freeze Frame Easter Egg. The mannequins will move towards the players only when the player is not looking at the mannequins.

Sadly, not everyone is able to enjoy the Nuketown map. When “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” was released, it appears that there is a qualifier for preorders in getting the Nuketown map. According to Eurogamer, Activision had previously marketed that all players who preorder the game will get access to Nuketown.

Apparently, this had been a mistake on publisher Activision’s end, as the preorder is actually an exclusive to GAME. Following fans’ negative reactions to the misleading marketing, Activision has already responded by apologizing for the mistake. It has since then changed the preorder description in its official website.

The source does point out that some fans have received the Nuketown map even without a GAME preorder. This entailed contacting Activision about the issue. This is especially the case for those who preordered via Amazon, as this had been listed as a participating retailer for preorders.

There is no confirmation if this is a surefire way to get the Nuketown map for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” But it is worth the shot, if only to enjoy the Easter Eggs found only in the map. For now, players can look forward to a Double Weapons XP weekend.
