Here are some of the tips and tricks that players could use in playing the Prop Hunt mode in “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.”

What Is Prop Hunt

The Prop Hunt mode was first introduced in “Call of Duty: Black Ops III.” Now, it is a limited time party mode borrowing the basics of Hide and Seek but with a twist. This new mode in “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” pits a team of players and map props.

Props must utilize their surroundings for blending and escaping the prying eyes of the opposing team. The team with guns, on the other hand, must hunt down each prop to win. Props do not have guns and could not fight back, but they can create decoys, change forms and even throw a Concussion Grenade to escape.

They are not in their normal war gear but play as objects that appear on their respective map. Meanwhile, the team with guns must root out all Props on the map. Prop players are given the first 30 seconds of the round to look for a hiding place.

When the timer expires, the other team is released and can start searching for suspicious objects, whoever is shot down is considered found. If all prop players are found or when the time is up, the winning team gets the point and the side switches. This goes on until one of the teams earns three points.

Speed Is Important

Prop players could not fight back in the Prop Hunt mode of “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.” However, props are a lot faster and more agile than the other team. The props must use their speed to sneak past the enemy lines and hide in the safer parts of the map.

Small Size Is An Advantage

In the Prop Hunt mode of “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,” size matters. In other words, the thinner and smaller the prop, the lesser the area they could get hit. It is important to note that props could only change two times in each round and they could not revert to their previous forms.

Know The Controls

Prop players have a limited amount of appearance and decoy changes. Regardless of how players may look at the start of the round, it is essential not to use changing abilities too early. Prop players must use the time to hide as best as they could.
