‘Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ Leak Reveals 4 New Weapons For Future DLC
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare players have leaked four new weapon renders from the game’s latest update files. A post on the official subreddit offers clues about the guns that are likely planned for future DLC.
The complete renders can be seen in the Imgur slideshow below, but here’s what we know.
- VR-AR46: full-auto energy rifle. Exhibits great natural accuracy at the hip due to a custom barrel action that reduces recoil. Aiming down sights increases fire rate.
- Hades: Full-auto ballistic firearm. Dual barrels and dual magazines provide both increased bullets down range as well as faster reloads.
- Weapon MP28: Codenamed PERKS_SMG_MP28
- Weapon Mini LMG: Codenamed PERKS_LMG_MINILMG
Beyond the designs, there’s not much we can reveal about each gun. The AR46 should look familiar to campaign players, however, as that exact same VR weapon was used during select missions. It’s not the best form of defense on the roster, but it could potentially add a unique element to multiplayer.
Probably some upcoming weapons...
As for the MP28, it looks like a futuristic reskin of the German MP18 from Battlefield 1. It’s a solid SMG that’s fairly balanced and excellent for close-quarter kills. The Mini LMG has also been closely compared to Heavy’s Minigun from Team Fortress 2.

Given the latter two renders seem far less detailed than the former, we imagine the unnamed guns aren’t as close to completion. With full names and descriptions, we anticipate the AR46 and Hades for a far sooner DLC drop.
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the most recent game in the franchise to show signs of weapon DLC. Last week, Black Ops 3 players got the Galil assault rifle and Ballistic Knife added to the Black Market. Like the leaked Blood Anvil Mission Team before it, this mined content could easily arrive in Infinite Warfare’s next big update.
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
