"Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2 is set to launch a new map, new modes and new weapons as devs recently shared some more juicy details on what players can expect from the upcoming update.

Season 2 Start Date

"Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2 is titled "Day of Reckoning." It is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. PT or 4 p.m. ET on March 11. Players can download and install the latest update, which was released on March 10. iOS and Android mobile device gamers can access the update on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

What's In Season 2 Update

Like always, the latest update introduces new weapons, including the AS VAL Russian rifle with an integrated suppressor. It is a free weapon available via the Battle Pass reward. Players can also get their hands on the SP-R 208 marksman rifle, which was introduced in "Warzone."

It is an event reward that requires players to complete challenges to avail the new weapon. Apart from new weapons, the update also introduces a new scorestreak called Napalm. It gives players that Vietnam vibes with air support raining bullets on hostiles. New maps are also added to "Call of Duty Mobile."

The kill house called Shoot House, introduced in "Modern Warfare" and designed for multiplayer gaming, is now available in the game. It is available on Team Death Match, Domination, Hard Point, and Kill Confirmed, among others. Another "Modern Warfare" map called Shipment is now playable in "Call of Duty Mobile" Season 2. The map is expected to replace the Shipment 1944, which is currently available in the hit shooter mobile title.

Players can also enjoy new game modes via the latest update. Among these is the Gunfight Sniper that features six players in six rounds. The maps available in this mode are small, including Pine, King, Cage and Shipment, to name a few. Also, the game has a new battle royale mode called Tank Battle.

It is a ranked mode where players must collect the components to create a tank. This includes chassis, primary and secondary weapons, armor and engine. There are three tank blueprints and a whole set of anti-tank weapons, as well. The game's battle royale also adds a new cargo truck.
