A new leak surfaced online claiming that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered” might arrive this year. The much-awaited title is rumored to release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The claim that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered” would be released this year comes from a Twitter user named Okami. While many in the gaming world are not familiar with the Twitter user, it was the one responsible for leaking Gunfight's Alpha before it was even officially announced in 2019. The tipster also reveals that the game will have multiplayer content.

For years, fans have been requesting for “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered.” And, obviously, the latest leak excites the fan base. Last 2018, we heard rumors that a remaster is coming. However, we learned that the game would only feature a single-player campaign.

That’s not all, Okami also claims that the heavily rumored battle royale “Warzone” would be out by Mar. 10. The said battle royale would be free to play according to the tipster. Moreover, it would be on a separate client and available only on squads.

Mar. 10 is a popular release date of “Warzone” among tipsters. A couple of Twitch streamers earlier confirmed this release date.

Recently, the “Call of Duty” is plagued with controversy. One of which is the subpoena issued by Activision to Reddit to look for the user who shared a leak.
