Cameron Diaz is ready to embrace 2023 with a healthy mind and body.

As she returned to the spotlight after retiring from acting following the 2014 remake of "Annie," Diaz made sure that she returned healthily for her fans. Her health and fitness journey will continue as she recently gave tips and hacks on how to welcome the new year in the most positive way.

The 50-year-old "Charlie's Angels" star told E! News in a recent interview that she has goals in 2023 that her fans could also follow. She started by giving tips to stay healthy next year and creating manageable goals to accomplish in the next few months.

According to Diaz, people should start working on motivation to get things done without feeling that it might be discouraging or impossible for some. She said by looking at things that way, one can start moving toward a certain goal.

As for her fitness goals, she opened up about having a simple routine at home — like dancing — if people do not have time to go to the gym.

"I don't think enough people realize there are a lot of things you can do in a small space to just keep your body moving," Diaz said. "A really great thing to do is to just put your headphones in, put on a playlist and dance for like 15 minutes straight as hard as you can. Then, you just go take a shower and start your day."

Diaz advised everyone to create a short playlist, like six of one's favorite songs, to keep a person dancing. She said everybody could do it even without workout clothes or while naked.

Meanwhile, she suggested people drink wine instead and "make a smart choice" with it. This helped her create a wine brand alongside Katherine Power.

As she welcomes the new year with all these tips, Diaz also shared the lessons she learned this year that would help her in 2023.

"I'm gonna kill it. I learned so much this year that makes me feel like next year is gonna be so much easier," Diaz continued. "I'm going to be really on top of things, and it will be good to start all over next year."
