Camila Cabello Excited For Solo Performance After Fifth Harmony Break Up, ‘Bad Things’ Singer Hints At Being Lonely Since Split
Camila Cabello may be excited about her journey as a solo artist but that doesn’t mean everything turned out the way she hoped it would. Although she seems confident in her latest venture, it looks like the 19-year-old singer may be feeling a little isolated since quitting Fifth Harmony and leaving behind members Ally Brooke Hernandez, Dinah Jane Hansen, Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui.
On Friday morning, the singer shared her excitement with fans about traveling to the U.K. to perform. When one fan asked whether or not she was on her way, Cabello enthusiastically replied. “Soon!!!!!! I’m sooooooo excited omg,” she tweeted.
Cabello is scheduled to perform an acoustic version of the song “Bad Things” alongside rapper Machine Gun Kelly at BBC Radio’s Live Lounge on Tuesday. The singer recorded the tune while she was still in the girl group and went on to perform it several times while still being an active member.
Although she chose to leave the group, it seems like Cabello may be feeling one of the downsides of being a solo artist. “You get so alone at times that it just makes sense,” she tweeted Thursday night.
When Cabello released a statement concerning her departure from the group last month, she told fans she would be working on new music in the new year. The songstress clearly meant what she said because on Tuesday her song with Cashmere Cat, “Love Incredible,” was leaked. The song features distinctive drums and a romantic tone, according to Billboard.
Seeing that Cabello has already been in the studio working on her recent collaboration, it’s only a matter of time before she begins releasing more music.
