Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have been dating for two years and they celebrated their anniversary with a romantic getaway.
The "Never Be the Same" singer and "Treat You Better" crooner celebrated their second anniversary in the Caribbean. Both of them took to Instagram to mark their relationship milestone.
Mendes, 22, shared a steamy photo of them kissing on Instagram. "Happy 2 years my baby," he wrote in the caption with a black heart emoji.
The former member of Fifth Harmony also took to social media to share a series of photos showing their playful side as a couple. In one snap, she could be seen biting a slice of watermelon that she’s about to pass to Mendes who was smiling with his mouth wide open. In another shot, Cabello was seen making face and sticking her tongue out as Mendes looked surprised while both stared straight at the camera.
"Happy anniversary Kuko [red heart emoji] here’s to more joy, more friendship, and more love," she wrote in the caption with another red heart emoji.
The pop music sweethearts began dating on Independence Day in 2019, just a month after they dropped their second collab, the Grammy-nominated "Señorita." They previously worked together on "I Know What You Did Last Summer" in 2015, People reported.
The two have since become friends and have been romantically linked to each other. In a previous interview, Cabello shared that she "really bonded with him as more than a friend" since their collab six years ago.
"I think he did too, but we were both really young, and he was experiencing the pressures of his career. I don’t think we knew what to do with those feelings. It was this awkward thing where we both liked each other, but we weren’t together. It was just weird," she told Rolling Stone.
She also admitted in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in December 2019 that she had a crush on Mendes. Meanwhile, in 2018, the "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" singer called the "Havana" hitmaker his "favorite person in the world."
