Camila Cabello Is 'Thankful' For Boyfriend Shawn Mendes' Existence In Sweet Birthday Tribute

The internet turned into a mushy Sunday when Camila Cabello decided to wish her boyfriend of two years, Shawn Mendes, in a romantic way. In an Instagram post, Cabello told Mendes how "thankful" she was for his existence.

The “Wonder” singer turned 23 Sunday and celebrated his birthday over the weekend with his gorgeous girlfriend Cabello and a few close friends and the world just couldn’t get over how crazy in love the couple is.

Mendes received a sweet tribute from Cabello which she posted on her profile to mark the day.

“Feliz cumpleaños mi amor ❤ ️ thankful for your existence everyday,” she wrote alongside a carousel of two photos and one video. The first picture is of her kissing Mendes on the cheek.

The video seems to be a little bit of a friendly troll, as she makes Mendes repeat something corny.

“Now I feel weird about saying it,” Mendes, who’s holding an espresso, says to the camera.

“Hey, so, what were you saying?” Cabello asks.

“I’m saying this is me living my best life,” he responds. “With an espresso and this view," Mendes adds while pointing to the ocean nearby.

The “Treat You Better” singer also posted a video from the previous night’s festivities, which took place at Little Sister Lounge in the East Village neighborhood of New York City. Mendes appeared to be having a blast at his birthday bash, as the video shows a friend lifting him on his shoulder while a waitress brings a cake garnished with lit sparklers and a big marquee sign that reads “Happy Birthday Shawn.”

“Some real bday love!!! Thank you so much,” he captioned the fun video, followed by a special announcement for his fans. "Feeling extremely grateful for all of the people in my life today! also SUMMER OF LOVE NEXT WEEEEEK."

Mendes recently returned from a trip with Cabello to Mallorca, Spain, where he was seen teasing his upcoming single “Summer of Love” on more than one occasion. In a video that shows him driving in a convertible through a gorgeous hillside, a hat seems to be strategically placed on the dashboard has the song's title printed on it.

Yet another clip shows him sporting a hoodie with the song title, while he strums a guitar on the beach at sunset.

“Summer of Love” is expected to drop by the end of this week.
