Camilla Parker Bowles' first boyfriend has opened up about their past romance.

Prior to marrying Andrew Parker Bowles and Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall dated 19-year-old Kevin Burke, who opened up about his relationship with Camilla in Jessica Jayne's "The Duchess of Cornwall: Camilla's Story and Secrets." According to the book, Camilla lost her virginity to her first boyfriend.

When Camilla and Burke met, he reportedly instantly fell in love with her. He enjoyed the duchess' sense of humor and thought that it was fun to be around her.

"Every night we had two of three cocktail parties to go to and a dance," Burke said (as quoted by Express). "It was the best time, and I had just about the best, most fun partner you could possibly wish for. Camilla was fun, immensely popular, and although she wasn’t a beauty, she was attractive and sexy."

Camilla and Burke's relationship ended when the former decided to break up with him. "I remained with Camilla all that year. I suppose we were in love. Then she ditched me," he revealed.

According to Jayne's book, Camilla and Burke had been spotted all over London attending balls and parties. Following their separation, Camilla was reportedly on the hunt for her next boyfriend.

In the same book, Jayne wrote that Prince Charles' second wife was not a beauty, but a boy magnet. The Duchess of Cornwall "wasn't blessed with the good looks, but made up for it with her earthy sexuality that attracted the boys to her."

"She was into boys much quicker than other girls her age," Camilla's childhood friend, Broderick Munro-Wilson, said.

Unlike other girls her age, Camilla was into riding, hunting and jumping. These particular interests intrigued men who found it attractive. Camilla can also easily discuss and relate to men on subjects like fishing, sports and hunting.

In related news, the royal family ruled out Camilla for Prince Charles because she was not "aristocratic" enough. In addition, the deemed her to be a woman with experience.

"It was absolutely vital to have on the throne somebody who was a virgin," Dr. Piers Brendan said. "A future Queen must have no past."
