Camilla Parker Bowles Never Made 'Racist' Remarks About Harry, Meghan's Son: Report

Prince Charles' wife Camilla Parker Bowles is not the royal who made the alleged racist comments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children, according to a report.

In his newly released unauthorized biography on the British royal family, "Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors," British writer and former BBC journalist and TV producer Tom Bower claimed that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall once made a comment about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's then-unborn child's appearance that the former "Suits" star thought was racist.

Markle and Prince Harry previously alleged that a member of the royal family had asked what skin color their future child would have in their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, though they did not name the royal behind the alleged remarks.

But an unnamed "highly placed" source told the New York Post's Page Six, "Camilla is not racist — I can tell you categorically she is not the royal who Harry and Meghan were talking about."

While Prince Harry is not a huge fan of his stepmom, his alleged issue with her had nothing to do with racism, another anonymous palace insider claimed to the outlet.

"Yes, Harry may not love Camilla, but that goes back years — way before he met Meghan and their marriage. And that has nothing to do with any alleged racism," the second source claimed.

International Business Times could not independently verify this information.

Bower claimed in his book that part of the reason why Prince Harry and Markle quit royal duties and moved to California may have been their alleged issues with Camilla. The author also speculated that the Duke of Sussex could expose her as "racist" in his upcoming memoir.

"The Sussexes’ suspicion that the Duchess of Cornwall had made racist comments about Archie had fueled their fearsome denunciation of the entire royal family," Bower alleged.

In his book, Bower claimed that Camilla allegedly made a "racist" remark about what Markle and Prince Harry's future child's hair would look like, sometime after the couple's relationship became public in 2016.

The book claimed that during a conversation between Prince Harry, Prince Charles and Camilla at Clarence House at the time, the Duchess of Cornwall allegedly remarked, "Wouldn't it be funny if your child had ginger Afro hair?" Bower did not provide a source for this claim.

Prince Harry allegedly initially "laughed" at the comment, Bower claimed, but "Meghan's reaction to that conversation turned Harry's amusement into fury."

During Markle and Prince Harry's 2021 interview with Winfrey, the former actress alleged that there were "concerns and conversations about how dark" their then-unborn son's skin might be. Markle declined to name the royal behind the alleged remarks, saying the revelation would be too damaging.

Prince Harry later told Winfrey that it was not his grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

He also said that the conversation happened early in his romance with Markle. "That was right at the beginning: 'What will the kids look like?'" he recalled.

Buckingham Palace issued a statement in response to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's claims, saying in part, "The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately."

Prince William also denied the allegations, telling Sky News, "We are very much not a racist family."

"Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors," which was written without the cooperation of Markle, is already out.
