Camilla Parker Bowles will reportedly follow in Meghan Markle’s footsteps when she and Prince Charles head to New Zealand for their royal tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall’s tour will begin on Nov. 17 and will wrap up on Nov. 23. The royal couple will have joint engagements together, but they will also have solo engagements while they are in New Zealand.

Camilla will be focusing on organizations involving women and children. The mom of two will also be discussing key themes such as domestic violence and literacy. She and her husband will also meet with the country’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern.

“Their Royal Highnesses will arrive in Auckland, New Zealand on Sunday 17th November. During their visit, The Prince and The Duchess will visit programs and organizations working in areas they are committed to supporting. The Prince will focus on young people and youth opportunity, as well as environmental issues – with particular emphasis on tackling plastic waste,” a statement from Clarence House revealed.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex just addressed the important issue of gender violence when she traveled to South Africa with Prince Harry for their overseas tour. After their nine-day trip, Markle met with the youth ambassadors from One Young World at the Windsor Castle. She also participated in a roundtable discussion on initiatives on how to improve gender equality.

In related news, Camilla also made headlines this week after it was reported that Prince Charles would put too much pressure on his wife once he claims the throne. A source revealed that the future Queen or Queen Consort doesn’t want to receive the important title when Prince Charles is crowned as King.

But Prince Charles would most likely insist that Camilla receives the title because it is rightfully hers. However, this insistence may cause a backlash among royal supporters who dislike the Duchess of Cornwall. At present, not everyone has moved on from the fact that she had an affair with Prince Charles while he was married to Princess Diana.
