Before summer can really begin, TV lovers have to find out if their favorite shows have been renewed. The broadcast networks have announced what will stick around for another year, but unfortunately, they’ve also decided what didn’t make the cut. Over 25 TV shows were recently canceled by broadcast networks.

Some cancellations weren’t surprising. Fans of “Hart of Dixie” and “Cristela” had to know that their shows were in danger. However, a few canceled shows aren’t happy with cancellation and are searching for someone to bring them back. Variety reports that “The Mindy Project” and “The Following” are hoping to find a new home at Hulu while “Constantine” could be picked up by the CW, according to Deadline.

The news isn’t all bad. Plenty of shows were renewed. Of course, long-running and popular programs like “Big Bang Theory” and “Bones” are set to come back. However, many shows that were considered “on the bubble” were also renewed. The return of “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” “Nashville” and “Undateable” pleasantly surprised many fans.
