Capcom released footage and details of two new characters, Nova and Phoenix Wright, for its upcoming game Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Ultimate MvC3 is an update of the fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom 3. It features characters from the Marvel comic universe as well as characters from game publisher, Capcom, squaring off in 3-on-3 battles. The Ultimate update adds 12 new characters to the roster while balancing gameplay and updating the user interface.

Phoenix Wright is from his own title Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Gamers have wondered how the lawyer would play since his games are text-based puzzle solvers. Mr. Wright attacks by throwing evidence, uses speech bubbles such as Objection to slow down his enemies and scatters paper around the arena. One of Phoenix's most interesting ultras combos is one where it seems he proves his opponent's guilt.

Also joining the Ultimate ranks is Nova, from the Marvel universe. Nova is an Earthling who's a part of the intergalactic police force, the Nova Corps. In the comics he has super strength and is powered by the Nova Force (there's definitely a theme to the character). In game expect him to be a heavy hitting character with fire-based attacks.
