'Captain America: Civil War': Funeral Scene Attended By Major Superhero, Plus Behind-The-Scenes Fight Sequence
Photos showing the cast of “Captain America: Civil War” in what appears to be a funeral scene were spotted online Thursday. Another video from the set shows stunt performers practicing for a fight scene in the movie. [Spoiler Alert!]
New images from the set, posted on JustJared, show Chris Evans wearing a suit and sunglasses for the funeral scene, debunking previous reports that the funeral is for the Steve Rogers/Captain America character. Evans is joined by fellow cast members Emily VanCamp and Anthony Mackie. The three cast members will be reprising their roles as Rogers, Sharon Carter and Falcon, respectively.
Fans have for long speculated that the upcoming movie will feature the death of Rogers. The comic book series with the same title featured the death of the character, bringing an end to a civil war among the superheroes. It is unclear if the Marvel movie will follow the same comic book storyline or choose a different path.
Meanwhile, another video has surfaced online that supposedly shows a fight sequence in “Captain America: Civil War” that is being practiced by two stunt performers. This video posted on the Instagram account of Daegonkwon shows a stunt performer falling down after being hit. Some fans speculate the fight sequence will involve the character Black Panther, who will be played by Chadwick Boseman.
