‘Captain America’ Star Chris Evans On Ex Jenny Slate: ‘She’s My Favorite Human’
There is definitely no bad blood between exes Chris Evans and Jenny Slate. The “Captain America” star spoke about his ex-girlfriend and had nothing but good words for her.
“She’s my favorite human,” Evans told People. “She’s so vulnerable, so honest, so interested in other people more than herself, she’s incredibly compassionate, there’s just nothing to not love about her.”
Evans was all praises for the “Secret Life of Pets” star. For him, Slate was the best especially when it came to the mastery of the English language. The ”Avengers” star compared the experience of talking with Slate into an art and associated her expression into a colorful vision.

Last week, Slate also talked about her romance with Evans and the “Obvious Child” star had nothing but good words for the “Before We Go” star. In fact, for her, he has a heart of gold.
“He’s really vulnerable, and he’s really straightforward. He’s like primary colors,” Slate told Vulture. “He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he’s really sure of them. It’s just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it.”
Slate and Evans dated for less than a year. The pair first met on the set of their film, “Gifted.” Initially, the “Zootopia” star never thought that Evans would look her way considering he dated the type of Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly. So, when he confessed his feeling she asked if it was a prank but Evans was serious.
Unfortunately, their romance was short-lived. In February, the pair decided to call it quits. A source told US Weekly that the split was due to their conflicting schedules. However, Slate and Evans remained good friends.
Evans and Slate are expected to work together to promote their film “Gifted.” The film will hit theaters on April 12.
Are there chances for Evans and Slate to reconcile given that they are still very fond of each other? Drop a comment below.
