Car Deals: 4 Automakers Still Offering 0% Financing On New Car Purchases
At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, automakers were offering hot deals to get buyers into new cars through no-interest financing and deferred payments. Now that the virus has softened and stay-at-home orders have eased, many carmakers have let those offers expire except for a handful of companies that are still offering 0% APR deals for the time being.
Hyundai
Hyundai is offering 0% financing for 72 months on its 2020 Tucson and Santa Fe SUVs. The deal comes with 90-day deferred payments and, in some instances, cash incentives. The deal from Hyundai is complemented by 1.9% APR on other models within the automaker’s lineup.
Kia
For car buyers that have a vehicle to trade-in, Kia is offering 0% financing for 72 months on select models as well as $1,500 cash incentive for the trade-in. The deal is offered on 2020 Sorento, Stinger, Sportage, Soul, and Optima models.
Lexus
Until the end of June, Lexus is offering 0% financing for up to 60 months. The deal is available on nearly every vehicle model the company makes and is also matched with 90-day deferred payments. Some Lexus vehicles are also offered with cash incentives up to $1,000.
Mazda
Also, offering 0% APR for 60 days is Mazda. The carmaker has paired the deal with 90-day deferred payments. Mazda is providing the savings on new 2019 CX-3, MX-5, and MX-5RF models or any new 2020 vehicle. Cash incentives are also available from the company on new car purchases.
