Cara Delevingne Identifies Herself As 'Pansexual'

Cara Delevingne is one of the few Hollywood celebrities who have been quite vocal about her sexuality. She never shies away from talking about her relationships and is always honest about how she feels about her sexual orientation.

A few weeks after ending her relationship with Ashley Benson, Delevingne has revealed that she identifies herself as “pansexual.”

In an interview with Variety, the 27-year-old actress opened up about her personal life and shared that she openly identifies herself as pansexual, meaning she is “attracted” to people regardless of their gender.

The “Suicide Squad” actress further stated that she has been using the term “pansexual” to categorize her sexuality for quite a while now.

“I always will remain, I think, pansexual. However one defines themselves, whether it is ‘they’ or ‘he’ or ‘she,’ I fall in love with the person – and that’s that. I am attracted to the person,” Delevingne said.

Later in the interview, the model-turned-actress also explained that she never knew she would have to label her sexuality like that because it is just a part of who she is. She also noticed that she feels “different” all the time.

“I never thought I needed to come out. It was just kind of like, ‘This is who I am. Just so you know. The thing with me is that I change a lot. I feel different all the time. Some days, I feel more womanly. Some days, I feel more like a man,” Delevingne said.

Delevingne’s statement comes a few weeks after she broke up with Benson. According to People, the model-turned-actress decided to end the relationship after dealing with a lot of ups and downs in the past two years. The insider further stated that the couple called it quits in April.

Delevingne only confirmed her relationship with the “Pretty Little Liars” star, 30, last year when she posted a steamy clip of them sharing a passionate kiss.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, the star will be next seen in Mitja Okorn’s “Life In A Year.” The movie chronicles the journey of a 17-year-old boy named Daryn (portrayed by Jaden Smith) who finds out that his girlfriend is dying. He tries to give her an entire life in her final year.

The cast also includes Cuba Gooding Jr. and Nia Long.
