Cardi B Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Giving Birth To Second Child [Photo]

Cardi B just had her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to her second child earlier this month, and she looked stunning.

Wearing a fiery crimson-colored sequinned dress, which was from Thierry Mugler's fall 1995 couture collection, the 28-year-old rapper grabbed everyone's attention as she graced the red carpet of the "Thierry Mugler: Couturissime" exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs Tuesday. The said event was part of the Paris Fashion Week.

The "Please Me" artist also wore massive ruby jewels that adorned her neckline, red elbow-length gloves and a floor-length cape with feathers. She completed the look by donning matching face jewels, which jazzed up her eyebrows, and glossy nude lip color.

Cardi B flaunted her plunging, curve-hugging dress on her Instagram page the same day. In the caption, she wrote, "MUGLER MAMI | @manffredthierrymugler @muglerofficial."

Her post quickly garnered more than 2 million likes from followers who adored her look. Many of them took to the comments section to praise the rapper for her epic red carpet comeback.

"JUST HAD A BABY AND YOU COME BACK WITH THIS LOOK! Goddess," a fan noted.

"Didn't she just have a baby?? Wow!! Goddess," another commented.

"That snap back is insaneee," another supporter wrote.

It wasn't the first time the artist wore a show-stopping ensemble from the famous French designer. In 2019, Cardi B walked the Grammys red carpet in a rare Thierry Mugler vintage gown which featured an oyster-like shell and pearl embellishments. The look was reportedly inspired by Sandro Botticelli's masterpiece "The Birth of Venus."

Cardi B gave birth to her second baby with her husband Offset on Sept. 4. The musician posted the birth announcement on her Instagram page, writing, "9/4/21." She did not reveal the name of the baby boy.

She and her husband also released a joint statement to E! News, saying, "We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son. He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can't wait to introduce him to his other siblings."

The newborn joins 3-year-old sister Kulture Kiari Cephus and siblings from Offset's previous relationships, Jordan Cephus, 11, Kody Cephus, 6, and Kalea Marie Cephus, 6.

Cardi B and Offset tied the knot privately in September 2017, but the "WAP" rapper filed for divorce in September 2020, citing infidelity issues. The divorce was legally canceled two months later.
