Cardi and Megan recently celebrated the first anniversary of their hit song "WAP." Both took to social media on Saturday to tease fans about a possible new collaboration, People reported.
"Wow I can’t believe wappity WAP turned one today. It doesn’t even feel like it. What a record! @theestallion we should do it again sometime," Cardi tweeted.
Megan quoted Cardi's post and expressed her willingness to work with her again on another song.
"Happy WAPIVERSARY Thank you for having me, I think the people deserve another collab," Megan wrote with a smiling face with hearts and relieved face emoji.
Their fans immediately replied to their tweets as many of them got excited about the sequel to their hit song.
"WAP 2.0 IS COMING," one commented on Megan's tweet.
"WAP Part 2 Let’s get it," another wrote with 100 points symbol emoji.
"[T]ime to make history again methinks!" a third user added.
"WAP became a hit everywhere, one of the biggest during the quarantine," one user commented on Cardi's post..

Cardi and Megan's collab last year received mixed responses. Many praised it and it even became a massive hit. However, Snoop Dogg didn't hide his disapproval of the song because he found it too raunchy. Apparently, the "Young, Wild & Free" singer had a more conservative view when it involved women talking about their privates in public.
"Let's have some, you know, privacy, some intimacy where he wants to find out as opposed to you telling him," he said in an interview with "Central Ave" in December. "To me, it's like, it's too fashionable when that in secrecy, that should be a woman's...that's like your pride and possession. That's your jewel of the Nile. That's what you should hold onto. That should be a possession that no one gets to know about until they know about it."
