Cardi B Seeks Advice On Vegan Meat; Reveals She Has 'Stomach Virus'
It seems Cardi B is looking to try out a vegan lifestyle. She is turning to her 20.4 million Twitter followers for suggestions.
The rapper noted that she wants to turn vegan but she loves meat. She asked her fans if vegan meat would taste like real meat.
"I want to go vegan but I love meat.. are vegan meat replacements similar to meat in taste or not really?" she wrote on her Twitter page Sunday.
Fans took to the comments section to share their opinion. While some of them suggested vegan food would taste like meat, others noted how unhealthy vegan meat can be.
"Nothing comes close to sausages and bacon. Had lots of great veggie burgers," one of the fans wrote. "Pea protein mince is really good though and can taste like chicken also depending on how it's cooked."
"Seriously unhealthy. How they are made is bad for the environment. Our ancestors ate meat and were much stronger and less whiny! Don't do it just to follow the trend. You like meat so eat it and don't be ashamed. You do you!" another fan suggested.
One fan wanted to know if the 29-year-old rapper was planning to leave seafood as well. The pop star had earlier revealed that she loves seafood boil with lemon.
Cardi B also gave an update regarding her health and revealed she had been "drinking probiotics."
"I had a stomach virus not so long ago and I feel like my digestive system hasn't been the same," she tweeted the same day. "I been drinking probiotics and I don't see a change much. I be lookin at raw food pages a lot but that will be a huge change for me to do that."
The tweet came two days after the rapper shared a new episode of her "Cardi Tries" series. In the series, the rapper tries different things, including eating sushi, trying out different wigs, gaming, ranching, gymnastics, living in the wild and more.
The rapper shared a clip from an upcoming episode on Instagram over the weekend. She can be seen trying holistic healing in it. "In my zone with @sahdsimone new episode of #CardiTries out now on @Instagram & @Messenger," she wrote.
"Cardi Tries" often drops new episodes on Facebook's "Watch Together" feature. All previous episodes are available on Cardi B's official Facebook page.
