CARe 500 electric car priced at $32,900
The CARe 500, the electric car based on the much-loved, ultra-compact FIAT 500, will now be available at a starting price of €23,900 (USD 32,900). This price does not include batteries, which can be leased for €150 including a flat-rate fee for electricity. Alternatively, the CARe 500 is available with batteries at a starting price of €36,900 (USD 50,800).
The advantage of purchasing the car without batteries is that, for 150 euros per month, you will always have fully functional batteries at your disposal, you don't have to actually purchase the most expensive part of an electric car and fuel is included at a flat rate, says Martin Richard Kristek, CEO of mk-group Holding GmbH.
The CARe 500, with a fully electric drive, has a range of 120 km and a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The ultra-modern electric car can be recharged in 6 to 8 hours using a normal 230 V power socket. A service network comprising approximately 650 branches ensure the mobility of these electric cars.
This electric car is distributed by mk-group Holding, which is also known through its care-mobility and care-energy brand names. The CARe 500, manufactured by the Swedish company EVadapt, is available immediately and quickly delivered.
According to a recent report from Bloomberg New Energy Finance, plug-in electric vehicles, including plug-in hybrids and battery electric vehicles, have the potential to make up 9% of auto sales in 2020 and 22% in 2030 (1.6 million and 4 million vehicle sales respectively).
