Carling Cup Round-Up - Manchester United, Arsenal Progress, Spurs Eliminated on Penalties
A weakened Manchester United proved too much for bitter-rivals Leeds United as the visitors secured a 3-0 victory at Elland Road in the Carling Cup third round.

Elsewhere, Wolves hammered Millwall 5-0 at Molineux, Crystal Palace held off Middlesbrough for a 2-1 win, Aldershot and Burnley won with the same scoreline against Rochdale and MK Dons respectively.
