Casey Anthony Trial Day 35: Caylee was killed or died in an accident – jury deliberation begins (PHOTOS)

The prosecutors and defense attorneys submitted their closing arguments for Casey Anthony trial on Sunday and the jury began to deliberate on Monday whether Casey had killed her 2-year old daughter Caylee in 2008 or whether Caylee had accidentally drowned in the family swimming pool.

The prosecutors claimed Casey wants to have an easy-going life with her boyfriend just like before her daughter Caylee was born, so she made Caylee fall unconscious with chloroform, and suffocated her with a duct tape by placing it on her face.

Something needed to be sacrificed, that something was either the life she wanted or the life thrust upon her. She chose to sacrifice her child, prosecutor Jeff Ashton said during his 90-minute argument.

Defense attorney Jose Baez rebutted that Caylee died in an accident that snowballed out of control. However, the prosecutors tried to describe Casey as a lying, no-good slut with some fantasy.

Baez told jurors, I probably think you have more questions than you have answers, and some central questions, such as how Caylee died, still remain.

Casey, 25, was accused of seven counts, including first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and misleading police. If convicted, she will face the death penalty.

Judge Belvin Perry said the deliberations would begin on Monday, July 4.

However, Perry gave warning to both sides on Sunday afternoon. He said he has had enough.
During the closing argument, Baez teased Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton by calling him a laughing man. Both Ashton and Baez apologized to the court.

Although Perry accepted the apologies, he still warned that if they violate the orders again, they will be thrown out of court and never be allowed to participate in the trial.
