Few could resist weighing in on the sensational Casey Anthony verdict today on Twitter, with Kim Kardashian being no different. Kardashian, who has posted tweets over the course of the trial, indicated shock that Casey Anthony was found not guilty on all murder charges this afternoon.

WHAT!!!!???!!!! CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!, Kardashian tweeted after the jury announced their findings.

Twitter was abuzz about the verdict with it dominating the trending topics for the majority of the day. The conversation on Twitter inevitably made references to the famous O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Before long, Twitter members probed Kardashian with questions about how she could comment on the Anthony case when it was her father, Robert that helped land Simpson an acquittal in the 1995 case.

One user, HaHaWhitePpl, responded to her tweet with, So was Nicole Brown's family when your dad got O.J. off.

Famous sports writer Bill Simmons also responded to her tweet saying, Now we need one of Johnnie Cochran's kids to weigh in.

Kardashian responded to the barbs on Twitter, saying, Reading the comments here &its nuts people think just bc I was close to the OJ trial I can't have my own opinion on the Casey Anthony case?

Before the verdict, Kardashian has previously stated she thought Anthony was guilty but that there was a lot of conflicting stories being told in the courthouse.

I believe Casey is guilty but there's so many conflicting stories raising so much reasonable doubt- I feel this will be a shocking outcome.

Kardashian certainly was right about the shocking outcome part.
