Casper Smart Addresses Jennifer Lopez Breakup Rumors: Have They Split?

Don’t write off Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart just yet. According to Smart, he and Lopez are still very much together and in love, contrary to rumors swirling earlier this month that the pair may be calling it quits. They hadn't been photographed together in about three weeks, and sources said they were on the verge of breaking up.

The couple was last seen together in Los Angeles Sept. 21. But Smart, 26, tried to dispel the rumors during an interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush, saying, “Everything is good. Last I was informed we were [together].” He was even asked about marrying Lopez, to which he responded, “We’ll have to see.”

Tongues have been wagging about the pair since they first got together, because 44-year-old Lopez is 18 years older than her choreographer-dancer boyfriend. Asked about the fact that he often is labeled Lopez’s “boy toy” due to his age, he said, “It is what it is. It’s the media.”

Back in January, Lopez addressed their age gap, telling People, “I ask him, ‘Why don’t you go find a young girlfriend and get out of here? What do you want with me?’ And you think, ‘How long is this going to be?’ You think, ‘Okay, in 10 years I’m going to be like this and you’re going to be like that’ and. … The truth is we don’t know what's going to happen. We’re loving this moment right now. We make each other happy.”

Meanwhile, Lopez’s ex-husband Marc Anthony, 45, has been romancing Chloe Green, 22, the daughter of Topshop founder Sir Phillip Green, since February. They recently went on vacation to Portofino, Italy, together.
