Cavaliers Looking For Second Win Against Redemption-Seeking Heat

The Cleveland Cavaliers will play host to the Miami Heat on Tuesday, January 31 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, looking for their second-consecutive win.
It will be the second meeting between the Cavs and the Heat. In their first encounter back in November, Cleveland came out on top, 113-87.
The two teams are also coming off contrasting last assignments.
The Cavaliers won over the Los Angeles Clippers, 122-99, while the Miami Heat bowed to the Charlotte Hornets, 117-122.
In their last win, the Cavs were led by Cedi Osman coming off the bench. He finished with 29 points in 22 minutes of action.
Backing him up was Darius Garland with 16 points and 10 assists, while Jarrett Allen contributed 15 markers and eight boards.
"It was a great feeling, everybody was sharing the moment with me," Osman said. "We played great offensively, and it was a great game for everybody. We've got such a good group of guys who support each other at all times."
Cleveland is averaging 111.5 points per contest and had an offensive rating of 114.4/
The Cavs lead the league in team opponents' points per game, limiting the opposition to 106.9 points per contest. Their defensive rating is 109.7.
The Heat, on the other hand, is looking to bounce back from a stinging loss to the Hornets.
Jimmy Butler held up the fort for Miami with 28 points and seven rebounds, while Tyler Herro chipped in 24 markers and five rebounds.
"They have had a lot of injuries but when they have been fully healthy, this team can score much different than their numbers may suggest for the season," Miami coach Erik Spoelstra stated. "We did not step up defensively, they got a lot of easy run-ups that quickly changed the momentum of the game."
The Heat are last in the league averaging 108.6 points per contest. Miami has an offensive rating of 111.
Like the Cavs, the Heat are also one of the top defensive teams. They are second in the league when it comes to limiting opponents with 108.4 points per contest.
The Cavs are -4 favorites to beat the Heat, who are at +4.
Meanwhile, the moneyline is -170 for Cleveland and +145 for Miami.
