The Phoenix Suns will host the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday as both teams look to snap losing spells at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

Both teams are coming off losses, with the Cavaliers losing to the Denver Nuggets and the Suns succumbing to the Miami Heat.

Cleveland lost to the Nikola Jokic-led Nuggets in a game that saw seven players score 12 points or more. The Cavs were led by Caris LeVert with 22 points and four rebounds, while Darius Garland finished with 21 markers to go with eight assists.

The Cavaliers are averaging 11.5 points per game and shooting 47.9% from the field. They are also norming 42.8 rebounds per game. They hold a defensive rating of 109.1.

Worth noting as well is that in their last game, Donovan Mitchell was given the night off. Mitchell is averaging 29 points, four rebounds and 4.9 assists per game for the Cavs.

Against the Suns, the 26-year-old guard has been listed as day-to-day together with Garland. Dean Wade and Ricky Rubio have been listed as out against Phoenix.

For the Suns, the woes continue with most of their key players in sick bay. Devin Booker will continue to sit out for head coach Monty Williams, together with Cameron Payne, Cameron Johnson and Jae Crowder. Chris Paul has been listed as day-to-day due to a hip injury.

In that loss to the Heat, Phoenix was led by Deandre Ayton with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Torrey Craig chipped in 17 points and nine rebounds in 35 minutes of action.

The Suns are averaging 113.1 points per contest and shooting 46.6% from the field. They hold are holding down opponents to 112.2 points per game and are averaging 43 rebounds per game.

Despite having home-court advantage, oddsmakers favored the Cavaliers to prevail with a -4.5 spread compared to the Suns' +4.5. The moneyline is -190 for Cleveland and +165 for Phoenix.

In their last meeting, the Cavaliers pulled off a close 90-88 win thanks to a game-winner by Evan Mobley.

The Suns will host the Cavs Sunday at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix with the tip-off set for 8:10 p.m. EST. The game will be televised via BSAZ and BSOH, and live streaming will be available via fuboTV.
