'Celebrity Big Brother 2016': Jonathan Cheban Insists Kim Kardashian Trusts Him Not To Spill Kardashian, Jenner Family Secrets
“Celebrity Big Brother 2016” housemate Jonathan Cheban has shut down reports saying that reality TV star Kim Kardashian, and her family are terrified that he will spill their secrets on the show. Jonathan is Kim’s BFF, and reports recently surfaced that the Kardashians tried to stop Jonathan from joining the U.K. version of “Celebrity Big Brother.”
“We’ve been through a lot of people we can’t trust but we’re like family so it’s like trusting your brother, your sister,” said Cheban. He opened up about his best friend, in an interview with Lorraine Kelly in the iTV program “Lorraine,” which aired Monday. Cheban entered the “Big Brother House” Tuesday night, along with 15 other contestants.
Cheban explained that he and Kim met nearly a decade ago, before she shot to reality TV fame. They met accidentally, after being seated next to each other, at a common friend’s party in Los Angeles. He also said that over the years, Kim has remained a true friend, who never disappoints him, despite her increasingly busy schedule.
This clears the air after it was previously reported that Kim and her mom, Kris Jenner, are concerned and even “terrified” that Cheban might leak Kardashian and Jenner family secrets during his time on “Celebrity Big Brother.” After all, as Cheban himself proclaimed, he is like family to them, and knows more than most other people.
Kim herself also debunked the reports by showing support for her friend’s stint on the U.K. reality show. The Daily Mail shared a tweet that she posted Sunday, saying: “OMGGGG I can't believe @JonathanCheban is doing celeb Big Brother UK. I'm dying to see this! He's going to be hysterical!!!!'
Catch Cheban and other housemates like Gemma Collins, “West End” star Daren Day and soap star Daniella Westbrook. the Mirror shared profiles of all 16 contestants, who will be locked inside the house for four weeks.
“Celebrity Big Brother” airs on Channel 5 in the U.K.
