‘Celebrity Big Brother’ Casting Underway Amid Kaycee’s ‘Big Brother’ Season 20 Win
The casting for “Celebrity Big Brother” Season 2 on CBS is currently underway.
Executive producer Allison Grodner confirmed the news with Big Brother Network just days before the winner of “Big Brother” Season 20 was crowned.
“We have already started and we are so excited to dive into the next Celeb BB this winter!” Grodner said.
Just like the previous season, Julie Chen will still host “Celebrity Big Brother” Season 2.
Meanwhile, Kaycee has just been named as the winner of “Big Brother” Season 20. After winning the final Head of Household competition, Kaycee decided to take Tyler with her to the final two. The move was quite risky considering Tyler was also a competition beast like her.
But when it was time for the members of the jury to cast their votes, the non-Level 6 alliance members, namely, Scottie, Rockstar, Bayleigh, and Faysal voted in favor of Kaycee. Sam also voted for Kaycee, which gave her five jury votes. Haleigh was the only non-member of Level 6 alliance who voted in favor of Tyler. He also received votes from Brett, Angela, and JC.
In the end, it was Kaycee who won. But Tyler did not go home empty-handed. In addition to his $50,000 prize, he was also named as America’s Favorite Houseguest and received another $25,000 in the hit reality TV show. Brett and Haleigh were the other two houseguests who received the most votes from viewers. Unfortunately, only one person could win.
Other than the results of the entire competition, Wednesday’s Season 20 finale episode also became extra special due to Swaggy C and Bayleigh. After getting to know each other for a few weeks in the house, the first showmance of the season finally saw each other again on live television.
Before the episode concluded, Swaggy C knelt down and proposed to Bayleigh. And she said yes. The other showmances of the season were Angela and Tyler, and Haleigh and Faysal, and it will be interesting to know where their budding relationships will take them beyond the competition.
“Big Brother” will return to CBS with Season 21 next summer.
