Whether Céline Dion is belting out one of her iconic hits or singing the national anthem, the Canadian songstress has a voice that is recognized around the world.

Thanks to those powerful vocals, she has amassed a large fortune, which means she has plenty to celebrate when she rings in her 53rd birthday on Tuesday.

In 2020, Forbes reported Dion had a self-made net worth of $455 million. While the singer is known for hit songs like “My Heart Will Go On” and “Because You Loved Me,” Dion earned a bulk of her net worth thanks to her Las Vegas residencies.

“A New Day,” which ran from 2003 to 2007, and “Céline,” which ran from 2011 to 2019, grossed $681.3 million and sold 4,555,752 tickets, according to figures in Billboard Boxscore.

While “A New Day” grossed $385.1 million, “Céline” grossed $296.2 million. The two are considered the highest-grossing Las Vegas residencies of all time.

Dion is expected to return to the stage in May after postponing her Courage World Tour due to the coronavirus pandemic, ABC News Radio reports.

“We were really hoping to see all of you in Europe this spring, but obviously it's taking a lot longer than we thought for the situation to be safe. At least we know that help is on the way with the vaccines, so we feel really good about these new dates in 2022,” Dion said in a statement.

“I can’t wait to get out there and sing for you. We’re gonna have to make up for all this lost time, so please stay safe and healthy until we see each other again.”

Dion is expected to kick off the European leg of the tour in June. However, fans in America will have to wait until late August to see the singer in concert.
