Is ‘A Certain Scientific Railgun T’ Episode 16 Airing This Week? Show Update

The current coronavirus pandemic has resulted in yet another delay. The official website of “A Certain Scientific Railgun T” released a statement announcing the postponed of episode 16.

The makers of the anime series released an official statement revealing that episode 16 will broadcast Friday (July 24). The episode, which is titled “Dream Ranker,” was scheduled to air Friday (May 29).

The statement also mentioned that the series was supposed to continue until June. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show will continue until September.

The team has also asked the viewers to vote for the episode they would like to watch amid the coronavirus hiatus.

In episode 15 of “A Certain Scientific Railgun T,” it is revealed that young Kouzaku Mitori used to develop her abilities in a facility.

During her training time in the facility, she was able to impress the scientists. But it was only a façade, she knows that the only way to survive in Academy City is sucking up to the researchers. She knows that acting friendly is more exhausting than the actual experiments.

Later, a researcher asks if she can play with a girl in her free time. The girl named Dolly is having stress, and it is affecting her observational data.

Mitori asks Dolly why can’t she venture out, and she tells her that it has something to do with her treatment. Mitori and Dolly grew closer with each passing day.

In the meantime, Mitori finds out that Dolly has large stitches on her body during a checkup session. The researcher explains that Dolly needs a life support system to live.

Mitori uses her liquid metal puppet to get the flash drive that stores Dolly’s treatment records. She learns about her treatment and tries to stop it. She finds out that the Board of Directors ordered the experiment. Mitori tries to rescue Dolly from the researcher, but she is captured.

Several years later, Mitori sees the facility and remembers how she and others were treated as test subjects for experiments.
