CES 2022: ASUS Presents Their Latest TUF Gaming Laptops For 2022

The TUF brand of gaming laptops is one of the most prominent in the gaming industry that’s known for providing high-quality machines that can tread the balance between the three most important parts of a gaming laptop -- performance, durability and portability.

ASUS unveiled the newest model in TUF Gaming’s lineup, offering users the latest in high-performance gaming. ASUS’ new TUF laptops come packed with some heavy-hitting hardware, as shown in the company’s keynote presentation in CES 2022.

The F15 and F17 models come with everything a gamer would ever want from a laptop -- a high-end graphics paired a powerful CPU and a high refresh rate monitor for fast-paced gaming even with the latest releases.

2022 ASUS TUF Gaming F15/F17 Laptop

The F15 model is loaded for bear to handle anything that gamers may want to throw at it. With a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12650H processor, NVIDIA RTX 3070 Laptop GPU and DDR5 RAM clocking in at 4800 MHz, this laptop has enough horsepower to run most resource-intensive games in the market today.

One of the main advantages that the 2022’s F15 has over the older models is the inclusion of a MUX Switch, which enables users to toggle between the machine’s integrated GPU with the dedicated RTX 3070. This helps solve some potential GPU-related conflicts in some games and drivers while also keeping the laptop from using both at once, easing some stress on the machine while saving some power on the side.

Additionally, the updated model comes with improved fans for superior cooling over the older laptops, as well as the iconic military-grade durability that TUF laptops are known for.

The F15 and F17 models are almost completely identical. Most of the differences between the two entirely depend upon the hardware configuration that users intend to get.

ASUS TUF Gaming Dash F15

The Dash variant of the F15 features a more compact chassis that manages to offer almost the same level of performance that its larger counterparts can put out.

Externally, the Dash F15 is a beauty to behold. It comes in either black or white aluminum top covers and when folded, it shrinks down to just 20mm in thickness. The screen is 15.6-inches long diagonally and comes fitted with a 16:9 anti-glare display with refresh rates of up to 300 Hz, which is more than enough to help users keep track of what’s going on in their games.

Inside the laptop is the same high-end hardware powering the F15 and F17. Users get to pick between a 12th Gen i5 or i7 along with an RTX 30 series laptop GPU for maximum performance. The Dash 15 has the same MUX Switch and Arc Flow fan upgrades that allow for better quality of life and cooling even under stressful conditions.
