‘The Challenge Bloodlines’ Spoilers: CT's Return And Everything Else We Know About Season 31 So Far

“The Challenge” returns to MTV on Wednesday night. Before Season 31 kicks off, viewers are already searching the Web for spoilers regarding the upcoming installment. For those who simply can’t wait for the premiere, here’s everything you need to know about what's happening in “The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines":

1. CT Is Back

CT left last season of “The Challenge” after his partner and ex-girlfriend Diem Brown fell ill. While he was not allowed to finish his stint on “Exes 2,” it appears he’s back for the upcoming installment with a very special partner. Cosmopolitan reported that CT will compete alongside Diem’s sister, Faith Brown. As many “Challenge” fans are aware, Diem died Nov. 14, 2014 following her battle with cancer. CT and Faith are not listed in MTV’s cast lineup, but they do appear in the "Bloodlines" trailer.

2. Blood Is Thicker Than Water

Unlike previous seasons, which have paired the contestants with their TV personality enemies and exes, this installment will place the stars with some loving faces: their family members. The male and female contestants will face each week’s challenge alongside their brothers, sisters (there will be two sets of twins!) or cousins. Check out the full roster here.

3. There Will Be Drama

As expected, this season will have no shortage of drama. With family members joining “The Challenge," you can expect there to be some tension among the old and new cast members -- especially when it comes to standing up for their own.

“If you want to piss me off, mess with my sister,” Camila says in her “Bloodlines” bio about her partner and sibling Larissa. “Anybody that hurts her or tries to hurt her will get hurt by me.”

The "Bloodlines" promo video reveals that there will not only be heated arguments, but also some physical altercations. One scene shows a fight between three contestants, which results in decorative plates falling off a wall and breaking.

4. Intense Challenges

“The Challenge” newbies, whether they’re from MTV’s “Are You The One?” or the relatives of a show veteran, are definitely in store for some rigorous adventures. The trailer shows the cast participating in several dare-defying stunts -- ranging from a challenge that takes place entirely underwater, to contestants having their heads covered with bugs and snakes while trapped inside of a box.
