Charlie Weis dismissed as Notre Dame Coach
Charlie Weis was on Monday fired as Notre Dame head coach after serving five seasons.
According to reports from USA Today, possible successors include Florida's Urban Meyer and Oklahoma's Bob Stoops.
Weis ended up with a 35-27 record in his five seasons, a record worse than his two predecessors, Tyrone Willingham and Bob Davie, who also were fired.
