‘Chasing Life’ Season 1 Spoilers: Episode 10 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In The Summer Finale? [VIDEOS]

ABC Family’s new hit, “Chasing Life,” is wrapping up its first 10 episodes with a summer finale on Tuesday. Viewers have followed April as she struggled to maintain a normal life while keeping her cancer a secret from her loved ones, and part one of her story will come to a close with “Finding Chemo.”

The synopsis for the coming episode teases that April will be struggling to come to “terms with her situation as she starts chemotherapy treatments.” After weeks of putting it off, there is now nothing standing in the way of her treatment. But her battle has only just begun. April will be strapping herself in for a monthlong hospital stay, and needless to say that comes with “mixed emotions.” While she argued with Leo about fighting to live in episode 9, she’ll begin to sing a different tune “as her treatments take a toll.”

“Not sure she can be cooped up in the hospital for much longer, April begins to panic,” continues the episode 10 synopsis. “With her family by her side, April makes a surprising outreach to someone who may be the only person who can help her.”

Could that mysterious person be Natalie, April and Brenna’s half-sister? Natalie didn’t show Brenna any kindness when the teen showed up at her door in Florida. But Brenna may have struck a chord with her estranged relative when she divulged April’s condition.

“Chasing Life” fans definitely won’t want to miss the summer finale – especially since Dominic will return to “a much different April then when he left.”
