April isn’t the only one with secrets on “Chasing Life.”

Season 1 episode 5, titled “The Family That Lies Together,” will have Dominic taking April to a psychic on a date. While it seems like a fun idea, the psychic is going to tell them something that is going to make the date rather uncomfortable. While the fortune teller isn’t going to tell Dominic that April has cancer, she’ll probably hint at it.

However, Dominic has his own secrets. The psychic’s reading will push Dominic to tell April about a family secret, but don’t worry, the secret won’t be ending any relationships. April even decides to reveal her own family secret: her half-sister, Natalie. April first discovered Natalie’s existence in the first episode at their father’s grave and she wants to know more about her father’s secret offspring. Dominic will help April dig up some information.

Despite April finding another thing to distract her from dealing with cancer, she will have to deal with her official diagnosis from George this week. She won't be able to ignore it when her friend Sara becomes concerned about her health and finally confronts her, once again pushing her to tell people about her condition.
