‘Chateau Christmas’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Hallmark Channel’s merry holiday season continues with the newest “Countdown to Christmas” holiday premiere, “Chateau Christmas.” The film, starring Merritt Patterson and Luke Macfarlane, premieres Sunday night.
Hallmark fans will certainly recognize both stars, as they have each been staples on the network for a while, in both holiday movies and otherwise. Patterson, who also starred on “The Royals” on E! in 2015, has previously starred in the network’s films “Bad Date Chronicles” and “Forever in My Heart.” She is also a Christmas movie staple, previously appearing in “A Royal Winter,” “The Christmas Cottage,” “Christmas at the Palace,” and “Picture A Perfect Christmas.”
Macfarlane, meanwhile, has previously starred in “A Valentine’s Match,” “Just Add Romance,” and “The Birthday Wish,” as well as “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas,” “The Mistletoe Promise” and “Christmas Land” on Hallmark Channel. He has also been a part of Hallmark Movies and Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas programming events as well, starring in “Sense, Sensibility and Snowmen” and “Karen Kingsbury’s Magic Christmas Miracle.”
So what will happen when these two Hallmark vets team up? According to a synopsis, some self-discovery and music will be at the heart of this movie—and so will some romance.
“Margot (Patterson), a world-renowned pianist, returns to Chateau Newhaus to spend the holidays with her family,” the synopsis reads.
However, a trailer shows that Margot is having trouble when it comes to finding her passion for her music, which makes her return bittersweet. However, when she reunites with her ex (Macfarlane), everything seems to change.
“[Margot] is reunited with an ex, who helps her rediscover her passion for music,” the synopsis reads.
Will the passion for music be tied to her time with her former flame?
“Chateau Christmas” air Sunday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
