Jerry Harris shared his encounter with Justin Bieber's wife and said that Hailey Baldwin was obsessed with him.

Harris catapulted to fame through Netflix’s docuseries “Cheer.” He is popular for his positive attitude and eccentric personality that the audience and viewers love.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Harris spoke about the show, his newfound fame and his encounter with other celebrities, including Justin Bieber’s wife.

Harris has over one million followers on Instagram. His roster of fans include JJ Watt, Oprah, and Chrissy Teigen. He also served as Ellen DeGeneres’ red-carpet correspondent at the Oscars and got to interview Brad Pitt, Laura Dern, and Renée Zellweger. However, his favorite celebrity encounter was the one with Baldwin at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

“Hailey Bieber was obsessed with me,” Harris said with genuine modesty.

“I was like, ‘Am I really talking to Hailey Bieber for 30 minutes right now?’ It was just so pleasing.”

Even if he is already popular, Harris said his fame won’t change him.

“The newfound fame won’t change who I am because just as quick as it came, it can get taken away,” he added.

Harris and his team trained for a year for the 2020 cheerleading competition in Daytona, Florida. However, it was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Harris admitted that they were heartbroken over the cancellation.

“It was devastating because our whole year, what we worked for, got canceled,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.

“We really didn’t get to finish out the year how we were supposed to and we really only had a couple more weeks left. So, we were really devastated when it happened — it happened on, like, a Sunday and everyone was pretty much in town getting ready to practice on that Monday.”

Nevertheless, they remain hopeful and the TV personality is looking for business opportunities at school.

When asked about a potential “Cheer” Season 2, Harris said he has no idea about it. However, they would love to do another season.

“We’re thrilled to just ride the ride,” he said.

On Monday (May 25), Harris shared new photos of him on Instagram. In the snaps, he appears in his usual bubbly and happy self as he makes various poses.

“Let me drive the boat #lakedays #familytime,” he wrote in the caption.
