Comedian Chelsea Handler took to Instagram on Tuesday to promote her upcoming stand-up special "Evolution," and inform fans her longtime home in Los Angeles has been sold for $10.4 million.
The Instagram post grabbed many eyeballs as it featured the comedian naked in a large hot tub.
"The new Chelsea just sold this house because the old Chelsea was getting a wee-bit too comfortable. The old Chelsea wouldn’t have talked about herself in the third person and the new Chelsea doesn’t want to either," the comedian wrote in the caption of the video post.
In the video, Handler went on to explain the difference between the old and new versions of herself. "The old Chelsea used to find someone annoying and say to that person ‘You’re so f--king annoying.’ The new Chelsea doesn’t," she said, while smoking her joint. "She takes a hit of her joint, takes a deep inhale and just breathes."
“The old Chelsea didn’t like hot tubs, and the new Chelsea doesn’t either. I’m just trying to be open minded. The old Chelsea didn’t clean up after herself and the new Chelsea on the new HBO Max, you can find out all about her,” she added.
The "This Means War" star ended the video by getting out of the hot tub naked and walking indoors. Handler's post caught the attention of many celebrities including Debra Messing and Nichole Scherzinger while Patrick Schwarzenegger asked in the comment section, "Who videos this stuff," Hollywood Life reported.
Fans also took to the comment section and noted they are going to miss the comedian's Instagram Stories featuring this house. However, the social media users seemed to be excited to see the comedian's new house.
The comedian purchased this house for $5.9 million in 2010. She was shooting for the third season of "Chelsea Lately" when she brought this place, which also marked her first home purchase.
The 45-year-old comedian's residence was originally listed by Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland for $10.5 million in January 2021, and it includes six bathrooms and six bedrooms in a 5,572 square foot area.
