Chelsea Houska Wedding Update: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Teases Upcoming Nuptials, Says Daughter Will Be A ‘Mini Maid Of Honor’

Chelsea Houska and her fiancé Cole DeBoer are in the midst of planning a fall wedding after getting engaged in November. Chelsea, who is a regular cast member on MTV’s “Teen Mom 2,” revealed that she and Cole want an intimate , private ceremony and are still trying to hammer out the final details.

“It’s going great so far. We both want a small wedding,” she told People magazine.

The 24-year-old mom of one said she’s been handling most of the wedding planning because Cole is busy working, but she tries to include him in everything by getting his opinions before she makes any final decisions.

“We have the same taste and the same ideas … so far it’s been really easy,” she said, adding that her fiancé has been helping her remain calm during the planning.

“Cole is such a great guy, all the time,” she gushed. “He’s so calm, even when I’m worried about something. He’s just so great to me and to Aubree, so to be able to know that I can have that person forever is the best feeling. That’s what I’ve always wanted — a family — and I feel finally like that’s exactly what I have.”

Of course, Chelsea’s 6-year-old daughter with ex-boyfriend Adam Lind will have a special role in the upcoming nuptials. Chelsea explained to People that she wanted Aubree to “be more than a flower girl,” so she made the youngster her “mini maid of honor.”

“I have a friend who’s the maid of honor but I wanted her to include Aubree in all the stuff possible, and I want her to feel like she has an important role,” Chelsea said.

Speaking to Wetpaint earlier this month about her wedding, Chelsea said that the ceremony won’t be televised on MTV but said fans will have the opportunity to experience it through the photos she will share.

“Our wedding is just something so personal … and it just didn’t feel right for us to have it aired to millions of people,” she told the outlet. “Even though I appreciate the support and I’m so grateful for everyone who is so happy for us, people will be able to see the planning and pictures and stuff like that so I’m not leaving them with nothing.”

Chelsea isn’t the only MTV reality star in the middle of wedding preparations. As previously reported, “Teen Mom OG” star Maci Bookout teased last week that she was wedding dress shopping. The 24-year-old, who’s expecting her third child, is reportedly going to wed fiancé Taylor McKinney this fall.
