Pedro Eliezer Rodríguez Ledesma will be leaving Chelsea F.C. when the season ends, coach Frank Lampard confirmed. The Spanish winger will play his last games with the Blues in the FA Cup and the Champions League.

The confirmation comes not long after the Blues' 2-0 win over Wolverhampton. Pedro came off the bench and helped Chelsea secure a fourth-place Premier League finish.

The move hardly comes as a surprise as reports over the past months have been saying that Pedro was on his way out. He is expected to join Roma next season.

"The lads have just pretty much serenaded him in the changing room and rightly so because of the career he has had generally and for this club," Lampard said of Pedro, Sports Illustrated reported.

"It was his last Premier League game, but the impact he has had here is huge," the coach continued. "He is here for the remainder of games, but a big player of the club leaves and the spirit of the club I saw afterward was pretty special."

It was Pedro's 137th Premier League game and the last one for Chelsea. Aware of that, he thanked fans and his teammates for their support and for the chance to play at Stamford Bridge the past years.

"You'll be in my heart forever. Now let's fight for the FA Cup trophy!" Pedro tweeted.

Pedro had already signed a pre-contract with Roma before agreeing to finish the season with Chelsea. With his future now settled, Chelsea does have another player to worry about in Willian Borges da Silva.

Willian did not play against the Wolves, complaining about his ankle. He remains questionable for the Blues in their FA Cup final London Derby clash with Arsenal. Regardless of whether he plays or not, the Brazilian has also been linked to a possible exit from the team. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

Willian is standing pat on his demand of wanting a three-year deal with the Blues. Chelsea was only amenable to a two-year deal.

If the Blues and Willian cannot come to a deal, several teams are waiting to pluck the Brazilian from Stamford Bridge. Among the clubs interested in his services are Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal F.C.

Incidentally, Willian was offered a three-year deal by Inter Miami. He thumbed the offer down, hinting that he would prefer to stay and play in Europe.
