‘Chesapeake Shores’ Season 4 Finale Spoilers: What Happens In Episode 6? [Preview]
Season 4 of Hallmark Channel’s “Chesapeake Shores” might be short on episodes compared to other years, but it hasn’t been short on drama, and that fact will remain true through the big finale episode Sunday night.
Titled “Watercolors, Wishes, and Weddings,” episode 6 sees Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) and Abby (Meghan Ory) coming together in an unexpected way, while the rest of the O’Brien clan thinks about making major changes in their lives.
“Abby’s official first date with Jay (Greyston Holt) gets awkward when they show up to the same restaurant as Trace and Emma (Lanie McAuley), revealing lingering chemistry between the former couple and causing Trace to reconsider recording a duet album with Emma,” the synopsis begins.
“Meanwhile, family drama bubbles beneath the surface of O’Brien family celebrations. In the early stages of their new relationship, Mick (Treat Williams) and Megan (Barbara Niven) try to avoid the relationship mistakes they made the first time around. Jess (Lacy J. Mailey) and David (Carlo Marks) hit a snag in their B&B opening that threatens to derail David’s romantic plans.”
With a potential new agent asking Bree (Emilie Ullerup) about her life goals, Connor (Andrew Francis) and Abby considering new jobs and Kevin (Brendan Penny) and Sarah (Jessica Sipos) searching for common ground for their future, all of the “Chesapeake Shores” characters have big decisions to make in the Season 4 finale.
Metcalfe teased on Instagram just how life-changing the episode, which was directed by Terry Ingram and written by Michael Berns, is for everyone, writing alongside the Hallmark preview trailer that it’s full of “Sad goodbyes. New beginnings. And all the feels!”
The cast for Season 4, episode 6 also includes Diane Ladd (Nell O’Brien), Abbie Magnuson (Caitlyn Winters), Kayden Magnuson (Carrie Winters), Gregory Harrison (Thomas O’Brien), Jerry Trimble (Mark Hall), James Neate (Marc Adams), Nicole LaPlaca (Erin Prachun), Marci T. House (Hannah Urso), Catherine Lough Haggquist (Linda Nelson), Andrew Hedge (Wil Mercer), Annabel Kershaw (Laura Mercer), Dustin Lloyd (Joe Mercer), Lee Page (Paulie Mercer), Peter Benson (Brian Higgins) and Graeme Duffy (Rob Crone).
