American actor and social media personality Chet Hanks is one of the most talked-about names in Hollywood today. He made headlines after opening up about the issues he faced growing up with his famous parents: Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks and award-winning actress Rita Wilson.

In a video titled “The Truth About Growing Up As A Hanks” posted on his YouTube channel, Chet said his life growing up was complicated because “on top of fame already being toxic, I wasn't even famous.” The 31-year-old also said he did not have a strong male role model as a kid.
