The Chicago Bears are seeking their first playoff win since 2011 on Sunday when they host the Philadelphia Eagles in the final game of the wild-card weekend. They may be without the services of one of quarterback Mitch Trubisky's most reliable targets.

At close to 10 p.m. CT on Saturday night, the Bears reported that tight end Trey Burton was dealing with a groin injury and had been listed as questionable. It was an unusually late time to announce an injury.

With no legitimate big-play receiver, Burton entered Sunday's matchup as a key weapon for Chicago. He finished the season second on the team in receiving touchdowns (6) and fourth in receptions (54) and receiving yards (569) — all career highs.

The 27-year-old also spent three seasons with the Eagles and completed a pass to quarterback Nick Foles in the Super Bowl.

In a matchup in which the Bears will want any advantage against a resilient Eagles squad, head coach Matt Nagy may have to turn to Adam Shaheen or Ben Braunecker.

Shaheen was a second-round draft choice in 2017. The 24-year-old has just 17 receptions for 175 yards over his career but he also has four touchdowns. Shaheen was expected to be the starting tight end this season but he sprained his ankle and foot in September. He caught his first pass of the season on Dec. 2.

Braunecker, 24, is in his third season and has just seven career receptions for 83 yards. He spent time on the practice squad in 2017 and this season had three receptions for 42 yards.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Daniel Brown, who does not have a reception in 2018, could also be an option Sunday.
