‘Chicago Med’ TV Series Spoilers: Is Maggie In Serious Trouble In Season 2, Episode 10 ‘Heart Matters’? Promo, Synopsis Released Online [VIDEO]
NBC series “Chicago Med” returned last week after a short winter hiatus. Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) and Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) clashed over the treatment of a heart transplant patient. This week, the action moves from the doctors to a fierce nurse.
According to the official synopsis of Season 2, episode 10, Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) will be in some serious trouble. Remember a Chicago P.D. officer named Kate Windham (Tiffany Oglesby) who arrested her in Season 1? Maggie was handcuffed in order to protect a hospital policy that forbidded forcible blood draws. Well, Officer Windham will be back in this episode. But she won’t be in good shape.
Officer Windham will be wheeled into Chicago Med after she gets seriously injured. Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) thinks that Maggie should be taken off the case because of her history with the patient. She isn’t happy to hear that. Will Maggie get arrested again?
Elsewhere in episode 10, titled “Heart Matters,” Rhodes and Charles’ heart transplant patient will be rushed into the hospital after she gets into a car crash. There will be issues revealed about her condition that could complicate her surgery.
Meanwhile, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) will be forced to defend their actions when they explain a patient’s cause of death. Also, Halstead will try to treat an uncooperative horse jockey.
This “Chicago Med” episode will be peppered with appearances from characters in “Chicago P.D.” and “Chicago Fire” since a police officer is involved in a case. Kara Killmer, who plays paramedic Sylvie Brett, and Amy Morton, who plays Desk Sgt. Platt will be seen in episode 10.
“Chicago Med” Season 2, episode 10 premieres Thursday, Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
