The Kansas City Chiefs (13-4) enter as the favorite to advance to the Super Bowl when they host the New England Patriots (12-5) on Sunday night in the AFC Championship.

Oddsmakers list the Patriots as the 3-point favorite, with the over/under at 56.5 points. According to ESPN's Football Power Index's matchup predictor, the Chiefs have a 66.8 percent chance of winning, while the Patriots have a 33.2 percent chance.

The Patriots hosted the Chiefs in Week 6 in what turned out to be a tight matchup. A 28-yard-field goal from Stephen Gostkowski as time expired lifted New England to the victory, 43-40.

The Chiefs have had great success in nine games at Arrowhead Stadium this year. Their lone defeat came in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers, 29-28. The Patriots, who had a perfect record at home, were just 3-5 on the road in 2018.

Both the Chiefs and Patriots made easy work of their opponents in the divisional playoff game. The Patriots earned a convincing victory over the Chargers, 41-28. The Chiefs had an even easier time against the Indianapolis Colts, 31-13.

Sunday's forecast in Kansas City calls for a high of 28 degrees with a low of 18 degrees.

The winner advances to the Super Bowl in Atlanta to face the winner of the Los Angeles Rams vs. the New Orleans Saints.

Experts are somewhat split on the Chiefs-Patriots matchup.
