Ubisoft has just released a trailer giving us a sneak peak at “Child of Light,” a 2D action platformer/RPG set in 19th century Austria.

"Child of Light" stars Aurora, the daughter of a duke. She’s whisked away in the middle of the night to a magical kingdom called “Lemuria.” In order to get home to her father, Aurora has to free captive celestial bodies.

Ubisoft has said "Child of Light’s" art style is inspired by “Golden Age” artists of the 17th and 18th centuries, which is reflected in the game’s painting-like art style.

"Child of Light" will be released April 30 across all home consoles (including PS3 and Xbox 360) as a digital download for $14.99. Windows users will also be able to play it on their PCs.
